This man speaks the truth. For those of you who don't watch The Daily Show regularly - you're welcome. For those of you who've already seen this - you're still welcome.
(Why yes, I am catching up on really old Daily Shows on my TiVo, why do you ask?)

The second place he mentions, Grimaldi's, is that place in Brooklyn that K. recced that I could never convince you to make the trek to. :))
As for John's -- I have heard so much about that place on my food list at work!! That's definitely the one I'm dying to try next time I'm there.

There are so many good hole-in-the-wall places that there's no point going to a chain. And yes - eating it wrong.
My perspective is all askew because I know how your are supposed to eat NY Style pizza. And if you are going to make a show of it, you should do it right. Aaarggh. That was some classic JStewart...

The two times I've been to NY, all we've wanted to do practically is eat. There's so much good food to be had. And so much of it is available in the middle of the night, too! It was all street meat and hot slices.
