I heard on the news that a lot of Brits think that the only reason the royals still exist (some hope that the monarchy will dissipate when the Queen dies) is to appease the Americans.

Huh? I can't even remember the Queen's name. What does she do anyway?

Eeeeeeeeeeeelizabeth! :) I know this because my mother was named after her (she was born in the year the Queen visited SA).
