I just hate how everyone puts value on a life in Kingston, but we don't think about the other people dying in other countries.. call me a cold hearted bitch, but I'm not sensitive to killings, it just happens too much to lose sleep over it. You have to get on with your own lives.

i don't think you're heartless or anything. we're just desensitized to it... and it doesn't really seem real if it's not happening close to home.
maybe that's why everyone made a big deal.

but you know? thats crazy...i would normally feel safe at a bar in kingston and not even consider being stabbed. in calgary i was sketchy of certain bars/areas because that sort of thing was common there...im sure id do the same in toronto too...its the security factor, that feeling of safety.
man that freaks me out....it really does....people are fucking stupid
