IT IS NATIONAL POETRY MONTH (repeats may happen this year from previous years but oh well) I HAVE TO GO TO BED BUT here is the poem I have been memorizing for the past few days (from my deep and abiding love, e.e. cummings, as if it wasn't obvious

I have been reading a lot of e.e. cummings lately. He's a deliciously graceful poet. Very deft.

I ADORE THIS POEM SO MUCH I CAN'T EVEN.

One of the choirs I'm in at school did this as a song by David Dickau. It's beautiful and I thought you might want to hear it. The third stanza was always my favorite part of the song :)

This is my second favorite poem in the entire world, nay, universe! My favorite is his one that begins, "i thank you god for most this amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees"
