i'm doing the atkins diet. it's working and not as hard as i thought it would be...well except i can't go to macaroni grill anytime soon :( check it out at www.atkins.com. pretty much you cut your carbs, breads, sugars, pastas, all that lots of protien. eventually your body, which normally feeds off the carbs, allowing you to keep the sugars to creat fat *ewe* will start feeding off what you already have instead of new stuff. basically a healthy way of starving your body ;) as for working out, i just sit on an excersise bike for 1/2 hr plus lifting arm weights to keep my body burning. on the atkins, you can loose 10 lbs your first week! its great!...bllaahh i ramble too much sometimes!!!!
so cut out carbs completely? is there a limit on how much protein you eat a day? sorry im asking so many questions. but ten pounds in one week?! how could i resist haha thanks <3
you can have up to 20 carbs a day...that is more than enough. and you can have as much protein as you want. tonight for dinner i had arbys, the 4 for $5 deal, ate none of the buns and dipped the beef in cheeze sauce :) it works it's amazing. beef, chicken, fish, shrimp, eggs, cheese (not processed). as much as you want. you can have most veggies (not potatoes, corn, peas, or carrots), ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, mustard, mayo (no ketchup). soo much!
