Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it. It's been a lot of fun to write so far. Which thing I did there are you referring to? I sometimes have a tendency to stick little things in my writing and not even realize I've done it. *g*

Also, I'm not sure just how traditional Christmas is going to be at the Holmes house. There's interesting things about them that I haven't started getting into yet. *g*

Ah, that makes sense. I don't think there were any real hints before this part that both universes were the same (unless the universes I'm crossing absolutely couldn't co-exist I usually write with the assumption that they are the same) and I did hesitate a bit over that line of Sherlock's but considering some of the things I have planned for future parts it works better this way. *g*

Oh, wow. I just read all that in one go. I love that this has a fantastic plot, yet is also all about the relationship between John and Sherlock.

I loved this line:
"After all, he'd already made so many exceptions for John. One more wouldn't hurt."

Oooh, is John a human incarnation of the Doctor? The first woman I don't know (maybe River with the "my love" comment?), the red-head might be Donna or Amy (though I'm leaning towards Donna), and the 3rd was Rose. Am I completely off-base or am I warm? And the man... Well, he's either 10 or Jack. They both have close-cropped hair. Oh, wait. I suppose it could also be 9? Haha, speculating is fun.

This is just such a great fic and I'll be watching it closely for updates. More, more!

Yes, John is the Doctor though he's human right now due to things I'll be explaining later. *eg* The first woman was River, the second was Donna, the third was Rose and the man was Nine. That's something else that I intent to explain more later.

Hopefully I'll have more ready to go in a day or so. It's about to get a bit stranger and all kinds of interesting things will be coming to light during Christmas with the Holmes clan.
