I was getting ready to post something about this in my own journal, but i'll include part of it here as well. Yesterday I got an email asking to donate towards my sons "Holiday Party". It stated that we should keep it "Holiday" as to not offend anyone. I see the irony in that, so I agreed to purchase the non-offensive napkins. I find this entire thing silly since the have no problem singing patriotic songs that may offend people. I personally feel like each person has the right to believe and follow whatever they want. I also feel like if they don't believe in God, they shouldn't care if we do, and visa-versa. Our founding fathers would be outraged about every aspect of our way of life though.
