I just got back from patrolling near the Hufflepuff corridor and heard a lot of screaming, though, so if it's not the first-years making a racket, other people apparently take up the slack. Tsk.

Yes well - someone got the bright idea early in the year to teach the second year some sort of fire breathing charm. They used it excessively on Quentin for quite some time until he hexed them into next year. They decided to pass the knowledge on to the first years, though. It's most distressing - half of my robes are crisped about the edges.

I can't wait until the end of term.
