Thank God for Buffy

There is nothing that watching Giles cannot fix. Sombrero Giles, Chainsaw Giles, Translating Giles. It's all good.

Went to bed at nine. Cried for half an hour. Got up and had a talk with southernbangel about which season of Buffy to start on. (Sorry, Lee, I had to go against your advice of S7, and stuck with S4.) Forgot how much I had loved certain ( Read more... )

I always did think Giles was one of the sexiest guys on the show. It's odd I rarely go for the older men but there was something about him.

Add in Bryan White's Someone Else's Star to that play list

OMG! I used to love Bryan, and I adored that song (even though it made me cry every time). I can't believe I actually forgot about it. *shakes head*

On the show, I always thought Xander was the sexy one, or sometimes, when the moment was right, Oz. Now I look back on it and go, "Giles was the only one who really was sexy," although I love Oz more and more.

Xander was relatively cute in S1 and 2 but after that he did nothing for me. Oz was never cute to me. I love the character but Seth...not my type.

I wish Bryan would make a come back. He married that soap star and was never heard from again

Actually, I think Bryan's third CD kind of tanked, which may have contributed to the disappearance. I'm pretty sure he made a fourth one, but I never even bothered to buy it because I was so disappointed in the third one. Still absolutely love the second CD. His song "I'm Not Supposed to Love You Anymore" always makes me cry. *adds that one to the list*

And yeah, I'm not much for short guys. So Seth/Oz was adorable, but I could never date someone that I tower over. (So I'm shallow. Sue me.)

Hee! Yes, actually, I did see it. To which my response is: "I thought Angel got cooler with time because after three years, he got away from Buffy entirely. Then I liked him a lot." ;)

And that icon is the bestest ever. It always makes me giggle. But you're right, that was a good ep because it was so funny. The best part ever is when Buffy's Psych-class dream becomes reality, and Parker is blathering all over himself about how he done her wrong and can he have another chance, and she just gives him that head-half-cocked look and bashes him over the head with a tree branch. *snickers* Justice.

In seasons two and three, yeah, he was pretty freaking hot. C'mon, that's when I was obsessed with writing fic about him, so duh, I thought he was nummy. After that, meh. His hair got all long and floppy and he put on some weight. He looked too middle-aged (since, let's face it, IRL he was getting there) and relaxing-in-the-Barcalounger-in-his-boxers-watching-the-game-with-a-beer normal-guy-ish. He lost the sexy attraction.

But then, eventually I didn't find any of the guys on Buffy attractive. I had to go over to Angel for Wes and Gunn to get some hottness. ;)

I taught Jodie this, now I will teach you, I don't know if you'll read it, but you need dilate by Ani, then when you're heartbroken it will help you get over it, it won't make you mad, or sad, but you'll cry for a different reason, because all that you gave will come back to you, and it is SO good to feel whole again, trust me, it has worked for me so many times
