I twisted my ankle getting on the bus (slipped off the curb) I had a seat, but after a bit some old guy came up, and jabbed me in the shoulder and said "Get up boy, I wanna sit there." Seconded. I complained to the GCRTA once when I had something similar from a loud obnoxious old woman. Who then chased out the person who had been sitting next to me since she was . . . well, fat.

I got a monthly pass in the mail after I told them the local news would hear from me.

FWIW, my personal belief is that self-defense is always justified. One little push would have put the bastard on his ass (without being unnecessarily violent), and that would have ended the episode.

However, it wasn't my call to make. All I can say is you have my sympathy.

I'm with Gneech on this one. Personal political beliefs aside, what that pathetic old idiot did was far beyond acceptable from the word go. And yes, self-defense is always justified. Still, it's your call to make, and I would encourage you to try to have something done with the asshat driver.
