College-induced panic

Sep 18, 2006 22:23

Alright, so I know it's not even october yet, but I'm already starting to panic about colleges, hahaha. I haven't talked to Koteen yet; I kinda don't want to, but considering I need a recommendation from her, that'd probably be good ( Read more... )

Hahaha, Draco with ANYONE is awesome. Except for Ron. Cause that would just be the most awkward moments ever.

I knew about theu already; I like... scope out every school obsessively on that. I <3 it, hahaha.

CHO SHOULD'VE BEEN BOA!!!!!!!! lol, but she'd be too old looking i guess? well.. no, not really. she has a child-like face. but i can't imagine her with a british accent.

mehh, BoA is kinda oldish looking. At least, to me she definitely seems older then 17 or 15 or whatever Cho was supposed to be.
Wasn't her accent scottish or something? Hahahaha, that was just WEIRD. A Korean girl from Scotland that goes to boarding school in England. What a mess.

I'd rather shoot myself then go to Rutgers... no offense to anyone who goes there. I'm just leaving it there cause um, it's my safety. Or 'likely' as Koteen says it. xP

I dont think Vassar fits entirely either, haha. I just think it's a good school, and I want to pounce people on campus, whee!

with that list -- make sure you're ok with them all distance-wise. cus i kno bea applied to some schools and THEN realized that they were so far away shed never want to go to them.

and koteen did shit for me. basically she wrote me a recommendation and sent my stuff out. thats all shes helpful for.

and tcnj = love. i love it here. welcome week you really bond with your floor and theres like 50 of us on a floor so its not hard to find the group of people that you can hang out with. theres an amazing nursing program here so i was all good to go. that and the fact i didnt make my parents pay 40k a year was also really nice lol

rite now the downsides that i see are the food only being good half the time, and the lack of things to do during the weekends. altho that could jus be because i'm not party of the party crowd and i dont hear about any of them. but i'm not a drinker anyway and i'm pretty content with my weekends.

campus is beautiful, come visit sometime and i'd be glad to show you around!

Mmm, I will visit, don't worry.

And hahaha, I spend most of my free time jetsetting around; I don't think I have a problem with distance. If anything, my main turnoff to TCNJ is the fact that it's in... well, NJ. Ewww, jersey. ^^"
The bonding thing does sound awesome though, haha.

UC Davis - Boooooriiiing. I've toured it twice and a lot of my friends are going there. It's in the middle of nowhere and I hear there's not much to do. And some of the dorms reek of cow poo because they're right next to cow pastures. It's not a bad school, and it might even fit your personality. There are people who are really happy there. But here it's kinda known for being boring and in the middle of nowhere. If you're going to apply to a UC, apply to UC Santa Barbara :P It's obviously the best one.

Hahaha, I was thinking San Diego or Berkeley, otherwise. But Santa Barbara sounds lovelyyy. ^^ Afterall, anything with the word Santa in it can't be that bad, right?

Mmm, thanks for the info on Davis, heh. most people I know around here don't go to Cali, rawrrr. >.>

Berkeley is good :D You can't go wrong applying to the best public school in the nation, so I think you should definitely apply there. San Diego is good too. It's a study school though, so if you're the type who likes to party you might be a little bored. And some people don't really like how it's divided into 6 different colleges because it creates a lot of seperation. But it's a really good school, and the campus is pretty. And it's a 5 minute walk from the beach, according to my friend who just moved in there yesterday :)
