*g* I probably made it worse than it was. When you're reading it, it's actually not that hard to understand. Definitely nowhere near as hard as the 'Autobiography of Guibert', a French abbott of something unpronounceable.
I like little stories like that one, actually, not only are medieval scandals way more interesting than anything we ever do, but the personal touches are really neat. Like in the book I'm reading now: 'Ties that Bound' by Barbara Hanawalt on peasant families in medieval England. She has all sorts of stories about how people died, because the coroner's records and the inquest records tell a great deal about family life back then. Fascinating, and, at times, amusing stuff.
