Only read book one so far, but it's an amusing read in light of it's origins.

That's good to hear. Despite what you said, I would have a hard time imagining Nova going under ( ... )

American football, on the other hand, is about as processed and deliberate as a sport can be. The offense and the defense reset every time after a burst of action that only lasts seconds. You get a separate clock within the limits within which you are given to reset the offense for another play. The offense is on the offensive and the defense is on the defensive with a few exceptions wherein a turnover is involved. You have 5 beellion coaches each responsible for a facet of the game and some up in booths in the stands communicating through phones to their players. You have overhead photos that are immediately processed so that players who go to the bench can get a bird's eye view of the play before where something went right or wrong. Despite only fielding 11 players on the field at a time per side, like soccer, you have 53 players on a roster. There are 4 times the number of people *sitting on the bench* rather than on the field of play ( ... )

So soccer... yeah. Glad you like it. I can't say I can get to excited in soccer unless it's the World cup.

Interesting first week. Your two favorite teams did about as I expected (the reports of Moss' Decline were greatly exaggerated, neh?)

In my opinion, all the fuckers deserve to crash and be saddled with lawsuits.
¨
I am only saying this in part because I will probably soon have to start fighting with my former teacher "trainer" for a letter of reference (Ha!) and my end of contract bonus (Ha Ha!).

STILL don"t have an apartment, and the Czech co workers who are supposed to help me are basically telling me fuck off we tried to help you in July (when I was doing my CELTA and had 0 time to look at flats, but they don"t seem to appreciate it), no new computer for a while, and it is damn cold where I am.

Yep, I"m in a bit of a bad mood at the moment.¨

But I"m happier here than I was in Japan.

Glad things are going well for you.

=M

PS = fuckin Czech keyobards.

hehe,

Glad to hear things are ... sort of working out. I am abismal at E-mail responses, it's a problem area for me, it's in my permanent record.

Skip the computer, buy a nice warm coat ;>
