I start teaching alternative processes the second week of June at Photography 13, a gallery in Grand Junction. I am very excited. I have been in their darkroom a few times a week the last couple months. i really wish i was there to take your classes, it sounds great. bet you didn't know i was actually a photography major in college though.

I didnt know that. I can send you some links that may help you with start some of the processes I will be teaching. There are multiple things you can do to make the process less expensive ( ... )

The two processes I was referring to as contact printing processes are Van Dyke and Cyanotype. You can look up chemical kits at photographers formulary but beware there chemicals are not that great. In the Van Dyke kit do not use the arrow root starch.

Their kits are ok to start with because they're inexpensive. If you start printing a lot or want a professional finish then you would want to look up some chemical supply companies or photography chemical supply companies and order each chemical in bulk separately. I hope you have time to try this stuff. It is really cool once you get going.
