Last night's Animagus class went as well as can be expected, given the circumstances. Remus gave a lecture on how Care of Magical Creatures ties into Animagism, and his own experiences as a shape-shifter. Minerva of course gave a very educational lecture, and proved that her reflexes are still as sharp as ever. And at least I didn't put anyone to sleep with my lecture about Defense Against the Dark Arts while transformed. Sometimes I still have problems with the fact that I'm a professor now and no longer a student.

The students seem to be interested in the material still; I hope they realize how very difficult it is to become an Animagus, even if you do have talent. Some of the students still seem to think that after six classes, they will automatically be able to transform. I wish it had been that easy! But then, I had a very strong will and a very specific reason.
