A 2008 Reflection
1) What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
I worked a full time 9-5 job! All year!
2) Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I did NOT complete either of my new year's resolutions for 2008. i am going to try again this year with more specific goals and plans.
3) Did someone close to you give birth?
my cousin!
4) Did anyone close to you die?
No, not really.
5) What countries did you visit?
Mexico.
6) What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Discipline and self esteem.
7) What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 11, 2008 in Columbus, OH.
8) What was your biggest achievement(s) of the year?
Surviving it.
9) What was your biggest failure(s)?
Living without purpose and not taking care of myself physically or mentally.
10) Did you suffer illness or injury?
sinusitus.
11) What was the best thing you bought?
I didn't make any large purchases except for car repairs, unfortunately.
12) Whose behaviour merited celebration?
America's. Way to not elect Sarah Palin.
13) Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
George Bush.
14) Where did most of your money go?
50% went to student loan payments. the rest was gas and incidentals.
15) What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Visiting Christopher, New York, and Boston.
16) What song will always remind you of 2008?
haha the cyclone song, i'm yours, and pink's na na na song.
17) Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder: marginally happier.
ii. thinner or fatter?: definitely FATTER.
iii. richer or poorer?: about the same, which is depressing.
18) What do you wish you'd done more of?
Making new friends, playing video games, learning.
19) What do you wish you'd done less of?
being anxious and worrying about situations i have little control over. also, eating.
20) How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it with the family.
21) How will you be spending New Years?
With Chris, Andy, Bethany, Danae, and co.
22) Did you fall in love in 2008?
I think 2008 love predated 2008, but I guess officially, yes.
23) How many one-night stands?
none ever.

The Office

i read his dark materials this year again. NOT twilight.

a relationship
