Okay, I'm standing on a precipice. Help me take the leap.

Give me your best reasons for me buying and playing WoW.

I'm on the edge, people. Gimme a push.

mmorpg, wow

WoW is a gaming experience to be had, that's one thing I think everyone is in agreement on. However, everyone also agrees that in order to get the most out of the experience (ie, a good time playing reaching/during the higher levels) you'll need to invest hours of time per night to get anywhere, and that is difficult. (I personally play in fits-- every few months or so I'll convince myself my schedule can handle it and I'll play for a couple of weeks before burning out.)

By all means, get the trial. You'll love the game, and Marika is an awesome/reliable person to start grouping with (though by this time her tongue seems to be so inured to WoW slang she'll bust it out unknowingly in front of n00bs--yes, you do get to pick your own class and race-- but I don't know if I'd invest in the expansion pack etc right before you go into one of Waterloo's more esteemed programmes.

Let me know what you decide, regardless. It's about time for me to flip out and try playing again myself, anyway...

Oh, they were designed for her, but the game is really good to begin with.
