Rand's women
I had a weird ass dream last night.
(What else is new?)
I was Rand al'Thor, from the Wheel of Time. I had, of course, three women, but instead of them being Elayne, Min, and Aviendha, they were instead Elayne, Morgase, and Tigraine.
For those of you not familiar with the series, Morgase is Elayne's mother and Tigraine is Rand's mother. Elayne and Rand are strangely related; their mothers had children with the same man. So, rather than blood related, Elayne and Rand have the same half-brother, Galad.
However, it should be noted that Elyane and Morgase are perhaps rather distantly related to Rand, as Tigraine and Morgase are many times removed from each other.
One scene stands out in this dream. Rather than fighting the Dark One, they are on a conquest. However, Tigraine rebels against Rand and the other two women. Her revolt drives her into an almost catatonic state, where she stares off into the distance and repeats one sentence. Rand (I) forgives her, comes to her, and murmurs to her quietly. Tigraine gradually comes out of her catatonia and regains her faith and loyalty in Ranch (me).
Talk about incest!
