I just bought a new computer (well actually I made Eric buy me one because he crashed mine) and now I can't transfer my Ipod to this one. Does anyone know of a way to get my songs on this computer so that I can just re-upload them when I have to reformat my Ipod upon plugging it into the new puter ( Read more... )

Don't know if you got this solved, but you may be able to load the Ipod from the old computer while in hard disk mode. Then create a folder on the new PC to dump the songs into. Then after installing Itunes on the new PC, you should be able to add that folder to your library. It may ask you for your Itunes id and password if you have such a thing, particularly if you bought songs from the Itunes store. It's funny about making sure you don't upload your music to other PC's.
