The house project is done and has been so for a while now. I *think* it's working, the general idea was to get the place clean enough that maintaining took less time - since it wasn't in 'move in' condition when we arrived a lot of things are in what one would be generous calling 'serviceable' condition. Think tiles broken off of floors, unsealed

Good to hear things are going more smoothly with you. I'm jealous - our town's farmers' market won't be open for a couple more weeks yet. At least the garden club will be having their annual plant sale soon. Hopefully they'll have some interesting heirloom tomatoes and other edibles.

Our apartment needs some serious help . . . we have a cleaning date tomorrow, but we need to get rid of a *lot of stuff* and since we have different ideas about what stuff that is . . .

I would like to check out Dances of Vice at some point, to see the lovely clothes.

I'm so envious that you are going to the Dances of Vice parties. I've mooned over the photos for years now and a girlfriend and I keep wanting to throw something similar in Seattle. We need more awesome steampunk around here.
