Uhhhhh . . . everything's going dark >_<;

I feel like a bunch of helium was released inside of my head and caused burning sensations down my throat in the form of a huge lump.

In short, a cold that transformed into asthma.

I was just talking with Izo about how she thought she was coming down with something and now low and behold I'm sick as a dog. *Gets up on the bed scattered full of ( Read more... )

"I was just talking with Izo about how she thought she was coming down with something and now low and behold I'm sick as a dog. *Gets up on the bed scattered full of tissues while pointing in an Amelia-esc like fashion. It was you that spread it to me! I'm not privy to the details of this odd phenomenon but I just know!"

D: D: D: Nooooo. I didn't do it! Honest! I hope you feel better soon. *hugs and sends magical Xellos/Filia waves of happiness to lift her spirits and heart* :D <3

Sorry you have a cold.

People like me have to avoid people with small illnesses "like the plague" because we are immunocompromised. In 2007 I caught a 24 hour stomach virus that put me in the hospital ICU for three months. So you never know. I'm sorry, I just....I constantly feel forced to be polite to sick people because I'm afraid it will offend them, when I am likely to literally almost die if I catch what they have and wish they could be more understanding ^^; Not talking about you. Just offering the other side of the coin I guess.

I recommend Vicks Vaporub, warm showers, lots of sleep, and lots of water. <3

Thank you :)

It's incredibly unlucky that you were placed in icu for that long of time. 4 months!? Yeesh! I don't believe the people that I have as coworkers have health issues coming even close to that level but you never know I guess.

I understand not wanting to catch something. I'd almost do anything in my power to prevent it as well. What I didn't like was the way it was handled is all. Their are better ways than throwing items at a person. Especially if their not feeling well. A more courteous way wouldn't have been too much to ask would it? I was on the other side of a store room that was the size of 3 huge garages. The chances of anyone catching what I had was very slim. I made a point to stay in the back away from people.

Perhaps I'm being a wee bit sensitive. Being under the weather does that to people ^__^

Vicks and water is something I haven't tried yet. I should get on that stat! Thanks Amber >3 :)

Yes, people can always be more polite when someone is suffering from illness. That's something else I know well!

I wasn't in the ICU the whole time, but part of it, and it was horrible. But enough about me!

I'd say polite is good all around! More positive manner of speaking and less negative is best I think ^0^

Talk as much as you want about yourself! I really don't mind at all. Things would get boring fast if only one person spoke.

It's agreed that hospitals all around are full of suckage! ^^ I was in a hospital for a week before being booted out. It was a complicated foot surgery on BOTH feet at the same time. It wasn't a pleasant experience. I'm sure I would have died or at the very least my foot chopped off if my mom wasn't there protecting me from the staff. One lady almost over medicated me on Morphine and another put the cast on one foot so tight that it caused my pinky toe forever stick out more than the others.

It's scary when you can't trust physcians and the hospital's they work at. :(

Hospitals are a pretty glommy subject, shall we move on?

Oh I know! Amber have you ever heard of a british drama series called SKINS?

Gaaaah. As if being sick isn't bad enough without people constantly reminding you of it/giving you grief. Don't they know you're supposed to be nice to sick people?

Hope you feel better soon!

Thankies. You undestand! (Hugs you)

Actually I was thinking of taking a sick day today so I could knock this thing out of my system. It would have been a blessing in disguise cause' it would give me ample time to work on that chapter.

Then I got a call from work as I was about to call them for my leave of absence. They apparently need me there even earlier than usual today (grumbles about people not sticking to schedules . . .) -_-

Thanks for all the positive vibes being sent my way guys! (I need it) I'll persevere through it for you! ^__^
