Villains could have been season 2 considering what a fuck-horrible job they did writing the season 2 scripts before they went on their emo-con.

Wow. I really can't believe you don't side with the writers on this. My good friend is a writer in Hollywood. Maybe I just have a different perspective.

I have only one perspective: that of the consumer. And as a consumer, I am not entertained.

You forgot a picture of NBC in your villains post. They are the ones screwing the writers and viewers

No, they're screwing the writers. The Writers are screwing teh viewers by producing low-quality show scripts.

I hate having discussions via the internet. Tone and inflection aren't conveyed and people's thoughts can be interpreted incorrectly.

I apologize if something I said came across as taking a stab at your beliefs and how they work as a Buddhist. That was not my intention. Honestly, I was trying to understand the thoughts of someone who doesn't support the writers strike. In my daily life, the way that I understand someone's point of view is by asking questions. Though, I do admit to being hostile in some of the ways that I asked questions, and I definitely apologize for that. It didn't help with the spirit of dialogue.

I still believe what I believe.

But, I don't feel that this conversation, the way it's happening, is not constructive for me and probably not for you either.

Plus, there's a lot more I should be doing than spending time on livejournal.

I've posted my thoughts on my livejournal and on Facebook, and you are more than welcome to read those and to comment.

Thanks.
Niki

And therein the line has pretty much been crossed.

There's a difference between stating your opinion and pushing ideology. Your first post was stating opinion. Fine, we have differing opinions. That's life.

But every subsequent post after that has been pushing ideology on a scale that is staggering. And now I'm getting your ideology on two different fronts, one of which I very clearly stated I don't want to get spammed on.

There's a difference between a difference of opinions and outright telling me what to think. I didn't post this LJ entry as a query for input. I stated an opinion, and in a joking manner at that. No where in my post did I write the words "please tell me what you think", yet I'm not only getting offered unwelcome input both here and on my facebook.

We disagree. Please feel free to believe your opinion. There's nothing wrong with that. But future discussions or attempts to "save" me are unwelcome and will be deleted.

I'm confused. Maybe it's because it's late and I'm tired, but I really have no idea what I said in this last post to upset you. I was trying to apologize. If what you're upset about is the journal I wrote, please understand that I've had conversations with a few other people about the writers strike and so, wanted to express my thoughts. It was not, in any way, shape or form directed solely at you. Nor was it directed to any one person in particular. It was directed at getting my thoughts out...which is what a blog is supposed to be.

As for offering unwelcome input, I certainly apologize. Again, I thought that the point of a blog was to express your thoughts and have other people give their input. Trust that I won't make that mistake again.

Again, I apologize. Sincerely. This has gotten ridiculously out of hand. I take full responsibility.
