Mondays child is fair of face, Tuesdays child is full of grace, Wednesdays child is full of woe, Thursdays child has far to go, Fridays child is loving and giving, Saturdays child works hard for his living, And the child that is born on the Sabbath day Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.
Could be worse. :) Any time like morning, afternoon? :)
*nods* It's the weirdest thing looking at your belly and seeing it move. You can't help but wonder if when the little thing will pop out and start singing.
Tell the child there is a mountain of chocolate and My Little Pony's waiting for her to play with. The baby will shoot out of there like a pop tart out of a toaster!
I stick by my prediction and say its a girl! However, its the boys that overbake inside. YOu might be having a bouncy baby boy! O_^
Goodluck Mummy Jade! You will be one of the best mothers out there in this fucked up world!
*laughs* Not exactly. Yes and no. But yes it does become rather dangerous for both mother and baby. Can't remember the exact concerns they get. They (hospital) won't let you go over 10 days here (thank heavens! No April fools baby for me. *phew*)
They allow 10 days because the whole 'due date' isn't exactly an exact science. They simply add 40 weeks to the date of the first day of your last period. The formula the book had was grab the date of day one of the last period (12 June 2005), add 10 days (22nd June 2005), subtract 3 months (March) and increase the year by 1 (2006).
I can imagine going into labour the 'induction' day. Seems to be the way it works. My friend was due to be induced and she went into labour that day. I think it's like when the Dr's threaten to take out your tonsils and suddenly you never suffer from tonsilitis again :)

Why do they do that incidently? Is it not good for the baby to stay inside too long or something?
