i was watching the laramie project last night and the closing scene is the view that matthew shephard saw as he was dying
it was a string of the beautiful city lights and stars, and his father said that although he died hanging to that fence post he had his friends, the air, the sky, the wind, the sun, and those beautiful lights to put him to sleep
