Good luck with sleep - I hope you get some soon. How you manage to be so amusing while so clearly having a tiny weeny breakdown, I don't know.

our nanny had to return to england for an operation - but she just got back last week! i anticipate it will help in the long run. thanks for the offer though...

I don't think I've ever been quite as bad as that, but I got close a couple of weeks ago. He developed a similarly hideous habit of waking every 1-2 hours until about 4 and then waking and crying for ages every half hour until dawn. For two weeks. I turned into a zombie.
