Talk to your doctor and see if you can get a BC pill that has a Generic. I was paying $30 a month for my old one and after i talked to my dr he gave me a BC i like better and it has a generic so i only pay $10 a month now.

Well, I didn't have the money for the exam AND the first month of birth control, so I called my doctor back home and asked if he would write me a Rx for just 1 more month, and then I can have the money saved up for it next month.

I just wasn't planning on it being that much money. fuckers.

Try planned parent hood.... you will have to pay for an exam but it's based on your income.... i used to pay $20 month for my BC

Yea, at least you have insurance, dude. I agree that $45 is a bit high though-when I had coverage I think I paid $32 a month copay.
Did I mention that most major insurance carriers cover Viagra? Like 75% or more of the cost? WTF?
