Hillary Clinton and John Edwards both advocate, instead of a nationalized heath care system, a mandate requiring all Americans to carry private health insurance. Have you been reading any of Krugman's commentary of the top three Dems healthcare plans? He gives honest, factual and thoughtful analysis.

Kinda sorta. I've been reading a lot of the Atlantic, New Republic, New Yorker, and Economist lately and tend to skim the Times, either for quasi-trashy fun news, arts stuff, or "are we blowing up somewhere now" type material... I'll dig into it on your recommendation.

He credits Edwards, and to some extent Obama, for having some courage, but is disappointed (as am I) that none of them go very far to universalize the system.
