 First four grad school classes were all charcoal. Now it seems I've moved onto the oil paints stage. I'd never painted at all before. Crafts, sure. Oh my! :D It looks so luscious and crisp! I've heard a lot about oil > acrylic--true that? Very nicely done--good, thoughtful grouping of shadow shapes and everything!

Well I don't know anything about art but I think it looks quite good. Is is hard to blend oils? Because I think you pulled off the shadows very well.
