I know I haven't been around much this semester. I've been absent from about half the THEM meetings and have not posted to LJ since August. If anyone ever wants to experience insanity, all they would have to do is teach Kindergarten on the first day of school. *collapses on couch and promptly dies*

School starts tomorrow and I'm a little nervous and scared. I always feel this way at the beginning of the year. I'm a little afraid that I'm going to be a horrible teacher and I'm not going to be able to teach them anything. But regardless of any of that, my classroom looks very cool! I'm employed again!

I got the teaching job at Jefferson Elementary! I get to teach full day kindergarten for the 2007-2008 school year! My first full time contract. Yea!!!!!!!!!

I've decided to buy one of my brother's puppies. I've had him pick out as my favorite since he was born and I've become rather attached to him. I just can't let him go to some strangers. I HATE driving! I was on the 60 today and all of a sudden there is this loud metallic sound. Kinda like a rock hitting your car. And then it starts to gets hard to accelerate and is making a thump, thump, thump sound. I just got back from my first day of EPD 220: Foundations for Serving English Language Learners. Several good things about it are that it's the last class I'll have to take to complete my ESL Endorsement, that is basically required for teachers by the state. Christmas is almost over and I think it's been okay. First off, I haven't been feeling well and that kind of puts a damper on things.
