- Something else I've read recently: a four chapter webcomic called Delilah Dirk and the Turkish Lieutenant. Neat little story, very well done. I like the link sharing like this because it's a bunch of links in a single post whereas tumblr it's all single posts. Or at least that's how people use it. And LJ is so much easier for the finding things again factor!

Just my two cents on that.

Is the upcoming Zahn novel going to work stand-alone or will one need some sort of EU background? Because it sounds like fun and I haven't read any of the rest of the EU stuff!

LJ is definitely easier for finding things later, which I often do. That's my primary reason for sticking with this mode of link sharing for now. With Tumblr I could be more current, but I need to stop worrying about being current. This isn't a news blog, it's whatever the heck I want to put here. :)

I'm guessing that the Zahn novel will include enough info that you won't need knowledge of the EU to enjoy it. Zahn strikes me as that kind of writer. He'll make sure that any pre-existing EU characters/places are well enough established on their own. Anyone who knows the EU will get more out of it, of course.

I like having the links in one big post; then I can leave it open in my browser and take a few days to read the links. And I REALLY enjoy your links!!! You find great stuff. I sent a few of these to Andy, too.
