Crabs--A Gateway Animal

So I wanted to post this a while ago and just never got around to it.

On the way back from James' wedding, I get a bizarre, random text from Toby.

"I bought a little crab at the market, I think Ima make him my lil buddy lol"

I of course and totally bewildered. I ask him if he knows even what kind of crab it is, how to take care of it, if he knows

He's so adorable!!! I couldn't help oohing and aahing as he sniffed the camera - too cute! I wasn't familiar with sugar gliders, so I googled. Now I know. :)

When I started reading this post, I figured he was messing with you. :) I am very curious where one finds a live salt-water crab near Lake Michigan, which while not exactly fresh, is not salt water. Did he buy it at a seafood shop? :) I am sorry to hear of its fate.
