Picking up the phone and calling people is one way. A quick e-mail is another. Accepting invitations is yet another.

It's not that you don't know how to do it, because come on, it's easy.

I think I said that wrong, or rather I said it right but the thought is incomplete. I haven't been in the kind of head space where I'm good company, and I haven't been for months. Which is the why. And I don't know what to do about that, because until I can figure out how to pull myself out of the hole I've dug there is no point in picking up the phone because I don't know what to say.

I'm not really sure why I posted at all, I'm out of it today and I don't know if there was a coherent thought behind either that post or this reply.

Just ignore me.

I oh-too-well know what you mean about being in the right headspace to make good company! Sometimes, though, I find that being among friends actually fixes that - although it does take some initial convincing to get me out there. :P I'd love to see you again when you're up for it. Maybe we could go over to Meg's place or something. But in the meantime, take care! ♥
