Looking Back on 2013...

This year, we're starting a new tradition in our home-- stepping forward with our right foot those first moments of the new year. I'm not generally superstitious, but I'll try anything to NOT have another 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. Five years of struggle seems enough

That *is* a hell of a year. Good heavens! Still, you made it through and you're stronger for it. The more stress you survive, the easier it is to take the little stresses that come in a normal year. (Here's to a normal year in 2014!) ;)

Unfortunately, knowing you can get through "little stresses" only means there are larger ones to tackle later.... bleh!

David's birthday is February 6th! Mine is the 23rd. When is yours? I know it's around February as well.
