MRI on the Horizon and Job Search Update

My Monday neurologist appointment got moved to Thursday morning on Thursday morning. I guess the doctor was taking a long weekend too. (Jordan has Monday, MLK Jr Day, off of work.) Jordan took the morning off work to watch Dave so I could fill out the paperwork and stuff without juggling my 11 m/o. Whew

We're just having a small party with family-- grandparents, great grandparents, aunts and uncles in the area. It's going to be an Octonauts party. I'm making a small cake for Dave-- if it turns out. Jordan's mom is making the cake for everyone. We're doing crissont-wiches and pasta sides and, probably, lemonade to drink. Should be a good time!

... then we're gonna get some photos and get a cast of Dave's hand (probably on his birthday). =)

Hope everything works out with the job. Hopefully you'll get the one you want for now, and the ADOT ones will get back to you eventually so that if it pays better / has better benefits, you can slide into that one with less stress than you have this go-around. :)

My situation is similar. I have a second interview tomorrow with a little office who just needs someone to step in and run it, but I'm waiting for a background check with USIS that could take up to 6 months. I can't wait six months for a paycheck, though, so I have to take something, and truly it seems like a decent enough place to work, just not as cool as USIS...

We'll see what happens! I really want to get hired before mid-February, when all sorts of things run out. Eeep!

I'll keep you in my prayers. Job hunting is tough stuff!
