Risk Assessment and COVID-19 ("Corona")

So, part of my daily job includes risk assessment... so that would make me an "expert" in risk assessment, wouldn't it?... I guess we only trust the experts we agree with now because trusting all experts isn't sexy? Unless you're repeating experts that aren't sexy enough to be real experts

Sorry my friends were jerks. I assume it is because they are afraid and when people get afraid they become more unreasonable than usual.

Each time the news posts number of cases and deaths in my state I do the math and it comes up to around 4%. But I’m aware the numbers are off by a mile due to poor reporting of cause of death and/or lack of testing.

Also, I just refuse to run around afraid all the time. I mostly stay home because I am allowed to work from home full time now. Before I was not but if I had been, I would have been doing it long before now. Lol! If I could go out and get wings once a month, I would. I just might have to skip church a week to give myself 2 weeks away from Grandma

It's not just your friends. It's a lot of people... and it's not so bad. Everyone has an opinion. I just get to the point where I have more to say and need to get it out, but I don't want to perpetuate an act of futility.

Eventually, people will go out-- we're already seeing that with the protests.
