Holy wow, woman! That is terrifying! I'm so glad he got you breathing again! Was your primary able to get a more accurate diagnosis (or at least verify the one you had)? I'd be asking whether they tested to make sure you blood wasn't too thin (bleeding that much from the scabs?!) and if that could have caused low blood pressure to make you pass out.
My PCP agreed with the diagnosis. I think it was a combination of dehydration and, because of the bleeding and the shower, a sudden drop in blood pressure. The not breathing part was because of how I landed when I slid off the bench. I'm a bit on the more weighty side, and my airway was obstructed-- otherwise, the doctors figured I'd have woke up sooner. Once Jordan pushed me back, my airways opened up and I started breathing again.
... I can only imagine what would have happened had he not been there to push me over.
