I missed this post! Sounds very creepy indeed! If you don't know what a bad omen means, then it doesn't mean anything, right? ;)

I can't think of anyone who died that week... if it was someone I knew, they weren't terribly close. I mean, there are a lot of older women who I bring flowers for Mother's Day who've passed recently, but.... I doubt it was close enough to be related to this superstition. Still... it was pretty creepy at the time.
