Diamond Age is one of my favorite novels ever. I loved Anathem and am hard pressed to decide if it or Diamond Age is better. Givent that you really enjoyed Diamond Age, you'll probably at least really like Anathem.

It'll be awhile, as I'm currently reading the Baroque Cycle out loud, one day a week, and we're only about a quarter of the way through the first book.

I found the invented language awkward at first, but after the first hundred pages or so, I got used to it.

I was pretty satisfied with the actual ending.

Thanks! I'd been kind of iffy on Anathem, because I was tired of the lack of resolution in his books, even though I generally love them otherwise. Now I'll definitely pick it up.
