Is it weird I didn't know Queensryche was still releasing albums? I think I think they are older than they actually are.

I'd think you were fine. There are tons of bands (and other artists for that matter) where they release something and I go "wait, you're still active? Holy cow, how old are you again?!" XD I guess that happens if you don't keep releasing new material every 2 or 3 years instead of decades or something?

Did you know the lead vocalist has been booted out though? Read it on Wiki and was pretty surprised O: After so long...

That doesn't surprise me. Bands kick out members all the friggin' time, especially metal bands. LA Guns just released a new album without Traci Gun... He's the band's freaking namesake!

Yowch, that's harsh x_X (maybe? I haven't heard of them before >_> Time to read about them)

Yeah, one of my fave metal bands booted their singer/frontwoman 2-3 years ago. She was the "symbol/image" of the band. They came back with a new singer, who only after 2 albums, they decided to part with x_x Except that they're on tour now, so you can imagine how awkward that is...though they booted their first singer immediately after the last concert, so whoops.
