My parents were very conscientious about the culture they exposed my sister and myself to. So, I became a huge fan of classical music at a very young age. However, when I was 8, my 16 year old sister decided it was time that I became a fan of 'cool' music. She made me the following mix tape:

It included Prince's Seven, Ugly Kid Joe's I hate everything about you, Jim Croce's You don't mess around with Jim, Tonight from West Side Story and I'm leaving on a a jet plane. hehehe.
