I accepted a position at Lincoln County High School for an English Language Arts teacher.

I have my first real job!!!!!!

Whew. That takes a huge burden off of my chest. I was so worried that the plans Jon and I had were going to be ruined by me not finding a job. But I got one! With this job I will be bringing in abou $10,000 more than what Jon ( Read more... )

Woot! Congrats. Those kids are gonna be lucky as hell to have you as a teacher.

I think I need a geography teacher, because I had to look up where Lincoln County actually is. How long of a drive will that be?

Yeah... Lincoln County is right next to Crazy County... I mean Casey County. It's right around 60 miles, which isn't too far of a drive. I'll be technically living in Columbia, which isn't too bad.

It sucks to have to drive that, but a job you drive to is better than not having one.

I'll call you when I need my LoL-yers :)

I go in to work at 12, but it will not be a full day. Morganne's training me to be a trainer, so I expect to maybe work five or six hours tops. But she said it won't take terribly long, so I think I could arrange to leave earlier if you had something in mind. :)
