Nightmare Dreamscape of War

I dreamed there was a war. It didn't feel like a true dream, thankfully, more like a response to what is going on in Aleppo and the United States. Sometimes I do start having true dreams around the turn of the year, though, and I can only hope if I do have one it bears no relation to last night's

Nap Dream

I am a black girl with some kind of ponytail (maybe braids held back in a ponytail). I am dying or dead or really, really fucking injured. It's daytime (maybe late afternoon?), and I am laying facdown on a really thin, cheap grade red carpet--probably without carpet padding underneath, and I can see a black leather chair or part of a leather sofa (not sure because I can't move to see all of it). A man is moving back and forth in my view, and he is wearing dark high tops (they might have white or lighter soles, but they aren't all white).

That's the whole thing. I hope it wasn't anything real.

More Five-Minute Naps

Man (white, I think) in a blue jacket gets out of the passenger side door on a snowy roadway. There's a wooden fence, and baby evergreen trees. He puts something dark green against a fence post, flowers? He gets back in the car. I can only see his arm and the view through the window and a hill rises up, and more trees and plant life poke through the snow.

It is War. War is the last tool in politics when alll the other tools fail. It is sad and tragic for sure. But there is no mercy in a waging limited War. It only prolongs the suffering and the number of dead and wounded. It of course best to aviod War as far as it is possible to do so. But there are situations and times that it cannot be avoided. So, if one is to go yo War the only sure way to achieve victory is by waging total war. World War is a example of total war. Where am I going with this ? Good question.
