Maybe some of you don't know this, but the majority of people will read the rules only once (if at all, some just assume the rules to be the same general ones on all message boards and then don't bother after the third place they sign up with) and, as I ( Read more... )

Some of those people were really mean and what they said was uncalled for.

I'm sorry that an honest mistake turned into this mess.

Honestly I find them to be vultures that are quick to attack for any perceived injustice/insult/attack even if the post is perfectly innocent. I (a minority female) was once told I was racist and there's the door when I said I didn't understand why the term 'race card' was bad.

To me, there's a crew of them that are the epitome of schoolyard bullies.

Yeah, one time they ganged up on me when I posted a suck about this woman who got mad at me about a penny. Thing is, in her change, I had accidentally given her a British penny. I don't know how it got in my till, but it was there. Then she got mad at me, insisting I give her a Canadian one (I had already closed my till before noticing the penny and only key-holders are allowed to open tills. It won't open except if I'm making a sale). I explained to her that, being a penny (which is worth basically nothing) that no one would care if she spent the penny somewhere.

Now, every single person I have told that story to in real life has been like "WTF? It's just a penny. Get over yourself, lady." referring to the customer. But when I posted it on C_S, they agreed with the customer, saying that I should have found some way to exchange it for her. I was totally pissed off.
