Roads of the Seoul: Chapter 5B

Feb 19, 2011 16:13

If he had debated before on telling Jaejoong the truth, he was against it now after hearing the good mood his lover was in. there was no reason to worry Jae…at least not yet.

“Do I need a reason to call you babe?”

“No, but…”

“Well there actually is one.”

“Well then why are you calling Yun?” asked Jaejoong once more.

“To hear your voice.” Answered Yunho.

“Eww you’re so mushy…” teased Jaejoong. “tell me again why I agreed to marry someone as mushy as you?

“Because you love me, almost as much as I love you.”

“Yun,” whine Jaejoong laughing “Stop with the cheesiness.”

“I love you sooooooooooooo much!” exclaimed Yunho laughing along with Jaejoong. He finished his declarations off with over exaggerated smooching noises which the other continued to laugh and ‘eww’ about.

“I love you Jaejoong.” He stated quite suddenly and seriously which made Jae stop laughing. “You know I love you right?”

“Of course I do. Who else could be able to see the great Jung Yunho’s mushiness if not me? Huh?” he teased lightly.

It was silent on Yunho’s end of the line and he was pretty aware that the only sound Jaejoong could hear was his breathing.

If he had though that hearing Jaejoong’s voice would be able to erase all the worries planted in his head, he had been wrong. Instead it had made him feel worse over hiding this news to his lover. And it increased the need to see the other.

Hearing the melodious laughter that could only belong to his boyfriend had triggered so many emotions within him.

He felt angry towards his parents, especially his father for being this way.

He felt angry towards his mother for going along with his father.

Frustrated towards his grandfather for interrupting the earlier argument and leaving him to wonder just how things would turn out with his family.

Pitiful at having to lie to his lover and lowering himself to using petty excuses about why he had called just to hear the other’s voice.

In other words Jung Yunho felt like crap.

“Yun are you still there?” he heard the other male ask worriedly. “Are you okay honey?”

“I’m fine...” he managed to croak out. He was scared to continue on with this conversation afraid that he might release his stress trough tears, and if that happened he did not want Jaejoong to hear him. He had never cried in front of him, in fact he had never cried in front of another person. He was a man and his father had taught him to never cry in public…but damn it if the pressure and guilt he was feeling wasn’t too much.

“Yun. Yunnie did something happen?” asked Jaejoong silently.

He could tell that Jae was worried and that was the last thing he wanted. He took a deep breath and sat up on the bed fixing the pillows against the headboard of his bed so he could lean against them.

“I’m fine.” He managed to say, and was glad that his tone sounded much more as it had when he’d been joking with Jaejoong. “Now baby tell me how everything’s been since I left?”

“Nothing much has changed Yunho. But omo I have good good news!! I almost forgot to tell you!!!”

It was funny how Jaejoongs mood could change with the flow of the conversation while Yunho would always remain sulking minutes after the other had already forgotten over some simple silly argument of theirs.

“Really now? Tell me babe.” Inquired Yunho laughing at Jaejoongs cute antics.

“I’ve sold all my things! Well they’re not exactly like out of my house, but my landlord already said he’d buy everything off of me. And he dropped by this morning again to give me the money for the stuff and tell me that yesterday some people were looking about moving in to this complex. So he’s giving them my furnished apartment. I’m done with everything Yun! Everything’s going by so perfectly! I can’t wait for you to come back now! ”

All yunho could do was smile in response…a strained smile…and for once he was glad the distance between them was large. For Yunho would not have been able to bear Jaejoong seeing the pain he was going through.

The only thing he could do now was hope that things would get better. For he could not wait to see the rainbow after the storm.

“Chun it’s still too early!”

An annoyed Junsu smacked his husband’s hand of his bottom and attempted to get off the bed.

“Susu!” whined Yoochun grabbing his wife’s arm before the other was out of his reach.

“I said no!”

“But-”

“But nothing, what would you do if Sunny were to walk in on us!” reprimanded Junsu.

“She won’t she’s with Min and Jihye. Now come on and show me some loving!”

“I said no!”

“hmmph’ he pouted crossing his arms and looking away from Junsu.

Junsu sighed at his husbands’ behavior and sat back down on the bed turning to look at his husband.

“It’s the middle of the day.” He said, not getting a response he leaned over to kiss the other on the cheek, moving away before Yoochun could get too into it. Instead of making the other happy this only seemed to sink the other deeper into his moodiness.

“Yoochun talk to me!” he whined.

“Hmmph”

“Your parents are going through some sort of crisis because of your brother and all you can think about is having sex?” he asked. He was frustrated at his husband for acting like a child. ‘God I’ve only had one baby so why does it feel like I’m raising two.’

“It’s not sex! It’s making love!” stated Yoochun.

“*sighs* Okay making love. Yoochun honestly can’t you get your mind out of the gutter for once?” asked Junsu imploringly.

“You think all my actions towards you mean that I want you to fuck me!”

“Junsu!”

“What? Sunhee isn’t here I can speak however I like.”

“hmmmph.”

“It’s the truth,” he continued. He moved over a little to sit beside his husband on the bed. “I kiss your cheek in public and you think I’m secretly telling you to take me to the nearest restroom. I give you a hug when you get home from work and you think that I want to go and fuck in the kitchen!”

“Su-”

“Even your own daughter has noticed! She asked me why her daddy kept on trying to pull my pants down when we went to that conference with her teacher and you’d wanted a quickie in the elementary’s restroom! Yoochun kids go in there!”

“Okay okay I’m sorry I won’t touch you anymore!” said Yoochun annoyed by the fact that Junsu could not appreciate all the love he wanted to shower the other with.

“I know you want to shower me with love but honestly Chun.” Sighed Junsu.

Oh he’d been wrong so Junsu did know…

“Chunnieeeee” said Junsu in a cute voice trying to cuddle to the other, while Yoochun pointedly refused to look at him. “Yeoboooo eeek you smell so good” squealed Junsu as he kissed his husbands neck traling butterfly kisses on his collarbone as well.

Yoochun sighed and pushed Junsu away from him. Resulting in the other’s confusion.

“Darn it Junsu you tell me to stop touching you and then you just throw yourself on me?” Yoochun couldn’t help but feel just a little unsure of what exactly it was that his angel wanted.

“Well I don’t like you being mad at me.”

“Fine”

Silence lingered in the room as they both leaned against the headboard of the bed. Faint squeals coming from outside indicated that whatever it was that their daughter was doing, at least she was having fun. Finally Junsu couldn’t take it anymore and slid closer to Yoochun.

Silently he took the other’s face in his hand and turned it so he could stare at his husband in the eye.  He traced the other’s bottom lip with his thumb and smiled a little as his husband’s lips parted slightly.

“I don’t want you to jump me okay?” he whispered “I just want to kiss you right now.”

That being said he leaned closer taking in his husbands’ sweet fragrance and slowly closed the distance between them. He couldn’t help but sigh as he felt the touch of the other’s lips against his own. It felt so good, ‘too good,’ he thought.

It was as if his sense of touch had grown more acute to the feel of Yoochun’s skin. But he couldn’t help but moan as he felt his husbands’ hand trailing down his lower back and his tongue caressing his lower lip asking for entrance which he gladly obliged.  It was sweet kiss, not one of trying to fight for dominance, no this was more of a playful kiss in which they only enjoyed the feel of one another. But to Junsu’s disappointment like all good kisses this one ended too soon as the need for air far exceeded even his need for Yoochun.

Panting they both separated and he could see the trace of a smile on the other which he returned with one of his own.

“I’m so lucky.” Mumbled Yoochun.

“Hmm yes you are…” he couldn’t help but mutter in response.

He leaned his head against his lovers chest while the latter continued playing with his hair.

“I’m so lucky, and it makes me feel so bad towards my dongsaeng.”

“Hmm what do you mean?” Junsu sighed looking up to face his husband without moving away.

“I know how my parents are Junsu. And I know how my grandparents are as well. My brother is a fool if he thinks that everything will go fine.”

“Chunnie…”

“It pains me to see the elders going against his decision. I’ve always been against this arranged marriage nonsense.”

“But we got married through one.” Said Junsu.

“But it was different. We were together even before our parents told us about the arrangement.” he said caressing his wife’s cheek. “We were so darn lucky. When my parents told me it’d be you I would be marrying I felt as if I were able to breathe again after having been suffocating slowly.”

Junsu smiled as he heard his husband words.

“Don’t you know Su” he continued “you’re the best thing that’s happened to me. You and Sun! You both are all I need.” Placing a kiss on his wife’s forehead he scooted down on the bed so that they could both be at eye level.

“Thank you Chunnie…” said Junsu unable to look away from his husbands gaze.

“For what Su?” asked Yoochun wrapping an arm around the other waist and bringing them close together.

“For everything. And especially for my daughter.” He replied.

“I thank you for that every single day!”

Outside the room they could both heard their daughters nagging towards her youngest uncle and they couldn’t help but chuckle.

It was true they had been so damn lucky.

***

“Sit down Yunho” His Grandfather motioned for him to take the seat in front of him.

He wearily took the seat, placing himself next to his father. He was in a way nervous that was a fact. But he needed to set his priorities straight. And the first thing he needed to do was clear up any misunderstandings his parents would have about his relationship with Jaejoong. He needed to make them understand that he had already engaged himself to a marriage with the said man without his parents approval.

He had never been a hasty decision maker. And goodness did he know that his choice to marry Jaejoong had not been a rash choice by his part. It had taken him a year to reach the decision and a first glance to know that he would never be able to continue on without the other.

“So were we left on from this morning…Yunho is engaged.” The oldest Jung turned to look at his son.

“I will not accept a commoner into my family.” Stated Yunho’s father roughly.

His grandfather hit the wood of the desk which made him slightly flinch at the unexpected sound.

“There will be no need for that type of vocabulary. I’m sure that ‘commoner’ as you like to point out has a name, am I right Yunho?”

“Yes his name is Jaejoong. Kim Jaejoong.”

“There you have son, now I will expect you to address that young man by his name. I want us to reach an understanding without having to make use of any sort of insult. Understood?” The older Jung looked expectantly at his son as he waited for a response.

“Yes father I understand.” Mr. Jung replied trhough gritted teeth, making sure to send a glare to his son’s direction making Yunho turn away from him to look at his grandfather instead.

“Well then why don’t you start son?” His grandfather asked Mr. Jung.

“My colleague and I have been talking about arranging a marriage between our family and theirs. It should be very beneficial for our part.”

Yunho looked at his father incredulously. How could he tie everything to money. He had never really thought that this was how his family seemed to work, but he had been wrong.

“I don’t want to-” he started before being cut off.

“Yunho please wait until your father finishes.” The old man turned from him to look at his son, urging him to continue. “Go on.”

“There is a new project being planned and they are in charge of it. He chose to show interest towards a marriage bond between both families, and well Yunho here was the perfect choice.” Replied Mr. Jung.

“I’m guessing his son is the same age as Yunho right?” Yunho’s grandfather questioned his son.

“He is and from the pictures I’ve seen I’m sure Yunho will be happy with my choice.”

“No!” he exclaimed. “I will not accept this, I’m already getting married to someone else.”

“To someone who isn’t even worth your while!” his father stated angrily.

“He’s worth more than everything I own put together.” He stated.

“Worth more than your own family?” asked his father who was obviously trying not to knock some sense into him through fists.

“I love him appa!” he exclaimed.

“Answer me son, worth more than your own family?” he repeated.

“I…” Yunho looked at his father. he couldn’t answer that question without hurting someone in the end. If he chose his family he would make Jaejoong seem inferior in his father’s eyes. But if he chose Jaejoong than what would that mean to his father…that he was an ungrateful son?

“You care more about him than your own mother, brothers, sister, everyone in this house?” asked his father. Yunho looked down which only seemed to infuriate his father more. “Look at me!” he snarled lifting Yunho’s head up roughly to look the younger in the eyes. “Now tell me you would choose him over your own mother.”

“I can’t” Yunhos answered in a hushed voice. “You are my family and I love you and respect you.”

“If you marry that boy, then you will no longer call yourself a Jung.” Stated his father removing the hold he had, had on Yunho’s hair. He crossed his arms and continued to stare at his son.

Yunho looked at his grandfather for help but the old man just leaned back into his chair and shook his head slightly. He was all alone in this. They were all making it painfully obvious that it would all be up to him.

“Please! Please please please! Give me a chance to introduce him to you!” begged Yunho. He could see where this was going and he needed desperately to try and change the course of direction this conversation was leading to. “I know you will all like him!”

“Yunho…” started his grandfather.

“Please harabeoji” he begged silently. He looked at his grandfather who seemed for a moment to contemplate the others pleas, before turning to look at his father who seemed taken aback at watching him in that state. “Father please, I’ve always followed your every order. Can’t you make an exception.” He asked.

“Choose, your family or that boy?” his father asked firmly.

“I…”

“But bear in mind Yunho if you choose him, then you have to forget about your mother, forget you ever had brothers and a sister. You will be dead to us. You will never speak to any one of us again. Do you know what that would do to your mother? That would kill her. You would be killing her with your actions.”

“I can’t father.” replied Yunho in a low voice. He could feel his eyes burning as they filled with tears that were threatening to fall at any minute. “I can’t live like that.”

“Then you have made your choice.” His father stated, a smug smile forming on his lips. “And a good one at that son.” He  stood up and patted his son before making a leave.

As he heard the door close signaling his father’s departure, he felt the tears against his cheeks. He couldn’t help the uncontrollable heaving of his chest. And he dropped his head into his hands to cover his shame from his grandfather who was still there with him. He Jung Yunho was a coward. A bastard. And the type of person he most despised.

“Son…”

He looked up, uncovering his eyes to stare at his grandfather. He was the only one that could help him now, and he would not give up on Kim Jaejoong without first knowing that all his chances of being with him were truly gone.

“Harabeoji, help me.” He pleaded.
