Roxy update part 2

We're home! She's still spacey. The vet said overweight cats have a harder time with the anesthesia and the enema. She just went potty so the enema finally worked, as she hasn't eaten anything since 6 a.m. yesterday. She growls every time I try to pet her head, so I'm letting her chill for now. Hope she doesn't hate me when she's finally herself.

I'm so glad she's home and I hope she's feeling better soon. Poor baby. And poor mommy, I know how scary that is.

She's been camped out in her carrier in the laundry room, just off the kitchen. She came out for a minute, used the litter box (yay!) and went back in the carrier for another nap.

It has been scary and stressful. She's normally a very healthy cat and built like a tank. This kind of blindsided me and left her in pain and bewildered. Not a fun week.
