Quick(ish) update list of randomness

1. Went to Akon on Sunday w/ sannask and horatio09. Never been to a con before. 'Twas awesome. Going to another in September.

2. Started watching The Unusuals on my DVR even though I know it's not renewed for another season. Shouldn't have. I have three eps left, and I'll be sad when it's over.

What con are you looking to go to in September?

We've been looking at small cons in the Houston area so that we can try selling dreamcatchers there. I want to sell at Akon but I want smaller cons to practice at first. I miss Akon and really hope to be back next year, either as a seller or a visitor. :)

And that would be awesome! I actually did a little staking out of some of the chainmaille tables. Once I get more practice and some speed, I think I'll give it a shot.

AnimeFest sounds like it would be a ton of fun ... but we're getting married on September 7th. ;)

I think it would be awesome if you were a seller too! Maybe if we can make the same conventions we could split costs and such. :)

O/T do you know any local wizardrock bands? We are going to have a wizard ball for the new Harry Potter and we need a band.

That's awesome. Off the top of my head, I only know of the Owl Post and Catchlove and Thomas & Finnigan in the area. The Mudbloods are in Austin and might be up for a roadtrip.
