Don't listen to the critics, it's actually quite good. Yes, the pacing is rather slow, but so was the book. And I never found myself bored, so...of course, I did get to watch it with an Englishman, so that was kind of neat.

How's recovery coming? Still pretty much on track?

Recovering sucks, too, actually. Not as much as being sick sucks, though, so there's that. But my dosage isn't quite right, so I still have a few symptomatic quirks here and there. I'm super cold all the time and really really tired and my feet swell. Also, I'm losing my hair, but I'm told that will right itself a couple of months after we get my med dosage sorted. Disease is lame.

Awwwww....disease is lame. Sanna could totally make you some cute headpieces for the winter. Just let us know!

Is this one of those diseases that you're going to have for the rest of your life that's controlled by medication, or are you actually going to be able to get over it?

...I like this idea.

And, yeah, I'm basically screwed for life. Like, the Graves Disease is forever, but the symptom of Graves Disease is hyperthyroidism, and to counteract the hyperthyroidism, they gave me hypothyroidism, which means now my thyroid isn't doing enough and I have to take a pill every day of fake thyroid hormone to make up the difference until somebody invents a more sensible solution or I die. We're just at the point now where we have to figure out how big that pill needs to be.
