Had an interview this morning with King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry for the position of Desktop Support Officer at 11:15am. 5 hours later, I have just received a call that I have got the job! OMG OMG OMG!!!

I think they saw that I was having early symptoms so they were eager to get me. Am a lost chick returning to the flock =PPP

They ARE the largest academic community in Europe devoted to the study and prevention of mental health problems.

So when were you last committed there and when is your next check up? We can meet up for coffee or something =)

I suspected as much when I glanced at a folder that had your name on it amongst the patient files during the interview =P

Thanks wor wor =) The pay grade is quite good, dunno about exact figures yet as still waiting for details from their HR. It's an Academic Post in Computing salary grade and their due for a rise soon but not sure if I qualify as am only starting the job in end June.

As for staying for good, it would have to depend on career prospects. As long as am not staying stagnant on my pay rises and career prospects, will stay in UK lor. Have also recently gone through phone interview with Transport for London's Information Management Scheme which I really really want to get in. Hopefully I get shortlisted for their Assessment Day den get selected for the position!
