Hello Resolutions, This Is Your Wake-Up Call

Jan 24, 2012 20:31

Well, well, well.  It's bloody two thousand twelve and apparently, the end of the world is near.  You know what this means...Jaesha must finish her damned WIPs before the world tumbles into chaos.  What kind of person would I be if I left my readers hanging?

A cut because I got a little carried away... )

I'm still here - but have less time to read. But I'm catching up again.

I'm glad your able to enjoy reading, even if it isn't as often as you used to. I'm not sure what we would do without you around, cordy. :-)

This fandom better keep going because I just enjoy it too much. Hey, I'll be going to Grand Slam so I'd love to see you there!

Absolutely! It's been too long, lady. What? Two years? Three? Let's definitely keep in touch as November gets closer. I don't want to miss you.

:hugs: I'm glad you're writing again. I will admit I haven't read the TTWKP chapter yet because work is making my life insane right now. But I did a happy dance when I saw the update. :)

I miss conventions too. I only go to San Diego Comic Con but that feels more like a trade show than a convention to me. We'll have to go back to Dragon Con one day. I just need to win the lottery.

Oh, work. I feel your pain, for sure. I can think back to a time when all I could think about was growing up and getting a job. I used to pretend I worked in an office and answered phones. Yeah, it's a lot more fun when there isn't anyone on the other end of that line and you can just make believe. The real thing sucks.

Sorry I didn't respond to your email a while back. I saw it and had every intention of replying, but I got sidetracked. Soon a couple of hours turned into a couple of days which turned into weeks. By that point, I felt stupid replying. Like, 'hi friends, here is your consolation prize for my absolute lameness'.

We will go back to D*C one day, but I have to agree with you on the cash flow issue. I know I was dropping at least a grand for that con and I am certainly feeling the pinch now. And Comic Con...whoo, I still have nightmares about those crowds. I'm not sure I would ever go back because you're right, it is very trade show. But that's awesome for you, my very talented friend. ::hugs!::
