Figuring it out

I'm still trying to get used to livejournal, so bear with me here.

A question for veterans of the site: When I try to insert an image, it says I have to use an image from a URL. Do I have to have a paid account to insert images from my comp?

If so, I'm immediately done with livejournal. I don't have time to upload every picture somewhere else

even with a paid account, i don't think you can upload an image directly from your computer to an LJ post. you have to upload it to another source and then post an 'img' tag with the URL.

paid accounts do offer 'scrapbook', which is space to put your pictures, but again, i don't think they show up IN your journal, you have to just post a link to the scrapbook.

so - i guess that means you're done with LJ. ;)

Go to "update journal"
Click on the little box that says "insert" near the top right
Insert photo and it'll let you insert a photo from a file OR a url
